Harvey Baltimore Clipper
The Harvey Baltimore Clipper Ship Model is a fully assembled replica of the Harvey that sailed out of port in Galveston, Texas in the mid-1800s. Completely hand built with the plank-on-frame construction method, each model features the finest wood such as mahogany, rosewood, and western red cedar with no plastic parts. This collectible model features varnished two-tone color on the hull. On deck you will find metal stationed cannons, bell tower, wooden windlass, and other metal ornaments. Extensive hand knotted rigging with hand stitched linen sails, metal anchors, wooden rudder are included. Arrives ready to display with wooden stand and brass nameplate. Measures approximately 35" x 8.30" x 26".
Very nice model ship. It is big, and has much on-deck detail. The shipping was free, and it arrived quickly. Only minor complaint, one of the rails had come loose in transit. But, Magellan provides a tube of. glue for just such instances. Overall, very happy. It displays well.
