P-51C Tuskegee Airmen "Signed by Charles McGee" Model Airplane in 1/24 Scale. Handcrafted from the finest mahogany wood. The P-51C Mustang was affectionately nicknamed "Kitten" and piloted by Tuskegee Airman, Brigadier General Charles E. McGee. McGee flew 409 combat missions over 1,600 hours during his 30-year Air Corps career; the highest three-war total in the United States Air Force history. McGee is credited with shooting down 110 enemy aircraft without losing a single American bomber under his escort. Display stand includes signed nameplate. Measures approximately 16" length x 18.50" wingspan.
