The Wasa or "Vasa" Medium Version Tall Ship Model is a highly detailed replica of Sweden's ill-fated warship which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. This fully assembled model is completely hand built using the plank-on-frame construction method with the finest mahogany, rosewood, and western red cedar woods. Features three decks, two and one-half rows of cannons on each side, intricate hand-knotted rigging with hand sewn and rolled linen sails, metal anchors, wooden rudder, metal cannons on deck, realistic lifeboats with ribs and planks, wooden cabin, detailed admiral's quarter on the stern with brass ornaments, and more. Complete with wooden display stand and metal nameplate. Measures approximately 29.50" length x 9.00" width x 28" height.
